National Public Lands Day Volunteer Day
Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network

Sunday September 19
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Invite a friend. Come with your whole family. There are a great variety of activities to choose from. You could trim and mulch trails, tidy up gardens, remove invasive plants, prepare a site for a new children's play area, and more. Lunch will be provided. Come enjoy a day stewardship with friends and get Pickering Creek in tip top shape, just in time for Harvest Hoedown and fall conservation education programs with school kids. This is a great way for teens to earn service learning hours. Service learning forms completed onsite at lunchtime will be signed before the end of the day. While registration will be on site starting at 9:30 am, advance registration is encouraged so that plans can be made for lunch and supplies.
