MD Lighthouse Challenge

Saturday September 13
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

The Calvert Marine Museum is proud to participate in the first annual 2003 MD Lighthouse Challenge on September 13 and 14. CMM has two beautiful lighthouses for Challengers to tour - the Drum Point Lighthouse and the Cove Point Lighthouse. There are a total of nine participating lighthouses and the historic Chesapeake Lightship anchored at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

Participants can begin their journey at any of the participating Lights. At the first lighthouse visited, participants will receive a special commemorative map created just for the occasion, and a souvenir stamp depicting that lighthouse. At every subsequent lighthouse visited, participants will receive a souvenir stamp depicting that lighthouse. There will be a special stamp for those partipants who "meet the challenge" and visit all ten sites.
