Night Walk on the Manchester Slave Trail

Saturday June 26
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM

Walk along the banks of the James at dusk by torchlight and experience nature and history. Follow the route walked by African-Americans arriving at the Manchester Slave Docks. James River Park Naturalist Ralph White will guide the walk, talking about what we see and hear along the river just before sunset, and reflecting on the history of this trail. Meet at Ancarrow’s Landing at the end of Maury Street (east of I-95) in Richmond.
