A Washington Christmas

George Washington loved music, dance and festive social occasions. Like other colonials, the Washingtons celebrated the 12 days of Christmas, beginning Christmas Day. On Saturday, December 26, the Memorial House will be decorated for Christmas and filled with colonial music. Througout the day the plantation will be busy with demonstrations and activities performed by costumed interpreters. Costumed interpretation will continue until twelfth night.
