Tuesday Evening Seminar: Return of the Monarchs

In March, Monarch butterflies leave their overwintering areas in Mexico to return north to their breeding areas in the United States and Canada. No other butterfly known in the world has this multi-generational migratory life cycle. This seminar for adults at the Virginia Living Museum examines the monarch’s amazing journey, explores the endangered habitats they need along the way, and suggests things you can do to help them survive. For ages 18 and up. 6-7:30 p.m. $5 VLM members; $7 nonmembers. To register call 757-595-9135 or register online.
