Homeschool Day at the Virginia Living Museum

The Virginia Living Museum will open its classroom doors to homeschoolers again, at special discounted rates, for a day of fun and engaging classroom programs that highlight important natural science and earth science concepts for ages pre-K through grade 12. “Only at the VLM can your homeschooled students meet live animals, handle museum quality specimens, experiment with real scientific equipment and more while learning about the fascinating world around us!” says Museum Education Director Chris Lewis. The museum’s science education programs have been endorsed by the Virginia Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Education, and the National Science Foundation.
