4th Annual Annapolis Oyster Roast & Sock Burning

Saturday March 22
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

It's an Annapolis Maritime tradition for sailors to burn their winter socks on the day of the Spring Equinox in preparation for sailing season. Come and join the crowd on the shore of the Chesapeake at the Annapolis Maritime Museum to celebrate the coming of spring with a sock burning bonfire and all the oysters you can eat. Live entertainment by local bands, crafts for the kids, environmental awareness displays, and fabulous food are all part of the fundraiser for the Museum.
