Over 150 breeds of domestic dogs are recognized by the AKC, but only five types of wild dogs live or once lived in Virginia. Several are on exhibit at the Virginia Living Museum. This seminar will take a close look at these wild carnivores, discover adaptations that make them special and examine some related meat eaters.
