The Virginia Living Museum offers free sky observing, beginning at sunset on the second Saturday of every month. (Star gazing is weather dependent.) Also part of the evening is a planetarium program at 7:30 p.m.; March's show is "Virginia Skies." Then, experience a sensory extravaganza as the planetarium's state-of-the-art LED laser shows provide music to both the eyes and ears. This month: "Laser Spirit" at 8:30, "Laser Metallica" at 10, and "Pink Floyd's The Wall" at 11:30. $6 for each planetarium show, or $10 for two.The Wild Side Cafe is open during the evening.
