Sweet Science Evening/Star Party/Laser Shows

Saturday February 9
6:00 PM - 12:15 AM

It’s February and that means it’s time for sweets! Join the Virginia Living Museum for a special Sweet Science evening event partnered with our regular Star Party and Laser Light Night. We’ll have several candy-related experiments you can try, plus join us for a special presentation, The Science of Chocolate, by our own Susan Summers at 6 p.m. Not to mention the usual viewing of night sky wonders, planetarium and laser shows! See "Virginia Skies" at 7:30 p.m., "Hypnotica" at 8:30 p.m., "Laser X" at 10 p.m. and "Dark Side of the Moon" at 11:30 p.m. Bring your sweetie for a night of sugar-coated fun. Sponsored in part by NASA. Sweet Science activities and sky observing are free. All shows $6 each. The Wild Side Café is open 6 to 9 p.m.
