Free sky observing begins at sunset at the Virginia Living Museum. Enjoy the planetarium presentations “2012: The End of the World? NOT!” at 5:30 p.m., “Star of Wonder: Mystery of the Christmas Star” at 6:30 p.m. and “Ringworld” at 7:30 p.m. Then, music accompanied by the brilliant LED laser light splashed across the entire planetarium dome, in “Laseropolis” (family) at 8:30 p.m., “Laser X” (hard rock) at 10 p.m., and Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” at 11:30 p.m. All shows $6 each, $10 for two. The Wild Side Café is open.
