Fall Native Plant Sale (continued)

Saturday September 29 - Sunday September 30

Choose from an incredible array of beautiful plants and many other native trees, shrubs and perennials. The Virginia Living Museum's horticulture staff holds this annual sale as a fundraiser, but the real goal is to introduce the gardening public to the incredible variety of native plants that do well in our landscape, and to educate gardeners about those which are better left in the wild. Native plants tolerate the area's weather and serve as food and shelter for area wildlife, while also providing a good show in the garden. The sale will be held in the Conservation Garden. All plants are nursery propagated. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday, noon to 3. Admission to the sale is free.
