Mike and Kelly Lange Summer Concert

Thursday June 21
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Mike and Kelly Lange are local charmers whose infectious original music will resonate with anyone who has cruised the Bay (or just dreamed about it). Mike is a piano player, singer-songwriter who has been playing in the mid-Atlantic and occasionally beyond for the past two decades plus. Now he is joined on stage by his wife Kelly on back-up vocals. Over the years Mike has performed with many of the top bands in the Baltimore/Washington area both as a bandleader, member, and as a freelance musician. His original music has been featured on numerous radio stations in the mid-Atlantic area as well as many independent radio stations overseas. Best known for the group Mike Lange & Boogie Express, Mike started out in Baltimore specializing in blues piano, later branching out into boogie-woogie, swing, roots rock, and more recently Caribbean music. Since moving to Annapolis, Mike now performs frequently with some of Annapolis’ best known bands including Them Eastport Oyster Boys and the Tiki Barbarians. His latest CD, Dinghy State of Mind, features 10 original maritime tunes inspired by exploring the Chesapeake Bay and the East Coast with Kelly aboard their 26-foot cruising tugboat, Li’l Leroy.
