James River Water Trail Stewardship Planning and Educational Outreach

This project will further development of the water trail on the lower James River through interpretive education programs, conservation analysis and outreach to landowners along the water trail. The James River Association will also develop and conduct education trips on the river at different sections of the Captain John Smith Chesapeake National Historic Trail. A member of the Chickahominy Tribe will provide Native American perspective.
