|Local Food Forum|
Tuesday September 7
One of the great things about Southern Maryland is the availability of local food. Depending on your tastes, you can find locally grown fruits and vegetables, eggs, and meat all within a short drive for a good portion of the year. If you are interested in finding and eating locally grown food, or you are interested in creating a better market for the food you grow or produce, we’d like to invite you to our free Local Food Forum. The Forum meets from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the first Tuesday of every month during Daylight Savings Time. Meet local producers and learn about the foods that are grown and produced locally. We will also talk about how and where to find local food, and work as a group to make local food more available.
