Description:Seven Foot KnollA 40-foot, round, barn-red screwpile light with a 4th order Fresnel lens that once beamed across the Patapsco River. Decommissioned in 1948; moved to Baltimore Inner Harbor in 1987, today serves as a museum. Fog bell. Operated by Baltimore Maritime Museum.
Type of Structure:Circular screwpile construction using iron plates. Painted red with grey shutters and black lantern room.
Purpose:Originally marked shoals.
