Description:Fishing Battery Fishing Battery Island, 2.5 miles offshore in the upper Bay near the mouth of the Susquehanna and Havre de Grace, MD. Owned by the Department of Interior.
Type of Structure:White two-story brick dwelling with a black lantern room on top. A skeletal tower has been built next to old lighthouse that now has beacon on top.
Purpose:Built to guide vessels through a narrow channel in the Susquehanna flats.
Interesting Facts:The last of the Donahoo lights, built on a man-made island.
