Oysters on the Half Shell
Annapolis Maritime Museum
Will be the key exhibition and the interpretive centerpiece in the historic McNasby Oyster Company building currently under renovation. The last oyster-packing plant in the City of Annapolis and one of the last in the Chesapeake region is a most appropriate setting for this exhibition that will highlight both the natural history of the oyster and the cultural history of the people who made their living in the oyster industry. This grant will provide funding for construction drawings, fabrication and installation of a major portion of the exhibition.
