This planning project will identify the most logical and rewarding water trail segments of the Star-Spangled Banner Trail. It will complement the Corridor Management Plan for the Byway which is underway concurrently and focusing on land-based resources and trail components. The result will be a complete consensus-driven, prioritized list of interpretive, access and stewardship projects for the Maryland War of 1812 Bicentennial Commission and the Maryland Office of Tourism Development (OTD) and Star-Spangled Banner Trail partners to uindertake through 2015.
