From this Spot You Can See Over 400 Years of History
Annapolis Maritime Museum
The Annapolis Maritime Museum will install interpretive panels along the water’s edge to highlight changes in the landscape and overall scene during the last hundred years. The cultural history panels will be divided into five centuries—1600, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2000—based upon historical images and information. Maps appropriate for each time period will be incorporated to demonstrate the region’s topographical changes and settlement patterns over the past four hundred years. A map of the Captain John Smith National Historic Trail will be included as part of the 2000 story.
