Of Land and Water, Interpretive Exhibits
Sailwinds Visitor Center
Located on the most heavily traveled highway on the Eastern Shore of Maryland this Network Regional Information Center is ideal to display this new series of Chesapeake theme-based exhibits. The project will completely transform the first floor of the main exhibit gallery into exhibits on the history, culture, and natural resources of the Bay and Dorchester County and encourage visitors to experience the attractions, museums and Gateways in the Heart of Chesapeake Country. The project builds from the recently completed interpretive plan, partially funded by CBGN in 2005.
