Grants Awarded - Susquehanna River Water Trail Signage

Susquehanna River Water Trail Signage

block Susquehanna River Water Trail - Middle Section
block Susquehanna River Water Trail - North Branch
block Susquehanna River Water Trail - West Branch

This project will develop and implement a unified orientation and safety signage system for the Susquehanna River Water Trail (including the mainstem and North and West Branches). Orientation and safety signage provides basic orientation, user and safety information to water trail users. The signs will provide user information to water trail users making it easier for people to access the Bay’s resources. They will also improve the access points along the Susquehanna River through consistent safety and orientation information at all access points. The project will: (1) create a sign template for use by project managers who are implementing orientation and safety signage along the river; and (2) provide the layout, fabrication and installation for up to 45 signs.

Amount Funded: $60,575.00

Start Date: 09/04/2004
