Access and Trail Signage for Parkers Creek Watershed Nature Preserve

block Parkers Creek Watershed Nature Preserve

This project will fund basic visitor information for the Parkers Creek Nature Preserve. The major goals of this project are to increase local visibility as well as ease of accessibility to the main trailheads and to all 14 miles of hiking trails. Signage will be developed to: identify major trailheads; provide clear information about hiking, biking and canoeing options at trailhead locations; provide updated permanent map panels at trailhead locations; and upgrade on-trail signage to provide safety and peace of mind to hikers, as well as to direct hikers to overlooks and other natural features.

Amount Funded: $6,596.00

Start Date: 09/04/2004
