Sultana Crew Card Project

block Schooner Sultana

This project is designed to engage children with the history of Sultana and the Chesapeake. Drawing from a model successfully employed at the National Holocaust Museum, the Sultana Crew Card project will create a dynamic personal exhibit in the form of a series of cards, each of which detail the life of an individual crew member serving aboard the original 1768 Sultana. The cards will be distributed as part of an on-board program allowing individual participants to experience the vessel and the Bay from the vantage point of an original crewmember.

Amount Funded: $6,838.00

Start Date: 08/15/2003
