Chesapeake Past, Present and Future

block Pemberton Historical Park

Pemberton Historical Park will create new outdoor interpretive exhibits and other signage along trails and at key sites throughout the park. The subjects will cover natural and cultural themes related to the Chesapeake, including Colonial settlement and the life of early European settlers, man's impact on the Bay and use of Bay resources, and what this holds for the future of the region. An interpretive map of the historic and natural areas of the park will also be developed. The park will contribute funding and time to project to match the Gateways grant.

Amount Funded: $25,250.00
