Interpretive Waysides for Potomac River Gorge Interpretive Trail
Fairfax County and the National Park Service will work together to create a self-guided interpretive trail between Riverbend Park and Great Falls Park. The "Potomac River Gorge Interpretive Trail" will follow the river's shoreline for two and a half miles and feature fourteen wayside panels along the route. These interpretive signs will highlight a variety of aspects of the river ecosystem and history and its connections with the Chesapeake Bay.
