| Sandy Point State Park has some of the best views of the middle Chesapeake Bay from Maryland's western shore. The 786 acre park provides a variety of recreational opportunities such as swimming, fishing, crabbing, boating, and windsurfing. The park's location on the eastern flyway also makes it a popular location to view woodland, marsh, and migratory waterfowl. Visit Sandy Point's beaches and picnic areas and look out at the Bay Bridge, linking the western shore with Kent Island, as well as the many ships and boats plying the estuary. |
