| The new Baltimore Visitor Center opened in May at the Inner Harbor, an inlet of the Patapsco River off of the Chesapeake Bay. As a starting point for visitors, the center is the perfect way to discover and explore areas of the region's sites, history, events, accommodations, maritime activities, attractions and restaurants. Trained information specialists provide interpretive materials and information as well as sell tickets to area Gateway sites. Attractions brochures and thematic displays assist in interpreting all the activities available in and around Baltimore. The “Baltimore Experience” film takes visitors on an exciting tour around Baltimore and state of Maryland. |
