| Located in the heart of Cambridge, the Museum invites visitors to discover the wooden boatbuilding heritage of Dorchester County and the surrounding region. A unique collection of traditional Chesapeake Bay ship models, tools and artifacts brings that heritage alive for visitors of all ages. The Museum's new Ruark Boatworks facility is passing on the knowledge and skills of area boatwrights to volunteers and visitors alike. Watch boatbuilding in action as the Museum fulfills its mission of "Putting History on the Water."
