Wye Island Natural Resource Management Area is located in Queen Anne's County, MD, just five miles south of U.S. Route 50 via Carmichael Road in Queenstown.
From Bay Bridge/Eastern Shore: Travel 12.5 miles eastbound on U.S. Route 50, and turn right onto Carmichael Road. Travel 5.1 miles on Carmichael Road until you cross the Wye Island Bridge. From the Wye Island Bridge, you travel south on Wye Island Road for approximately 4.2 miles. Park in any of the public parking areas along Wye Island Road.
From Easton, MD and south: Travel westbound on U.S. Route 50 to the MD Route 213 traffic light. Continue west on Route 50 for 3 miles, and look for signs for Wye Island National Resource Management Area (NRMA). Turn left onto Carmichael Road. Travel 5.1 miles on Carmichael Road until you cross the Wye Island Bridge. From the Wye Island Bridge, you travel south on Wye Island Road for approximately 4.2 miles. Park in any of the public parking areas along Wye Island Road.
