Trap Pond State Park is located five miles east of Laurel , one mile off Delaware Route 24 on Trap Pond Road .
To the Main Picnic Area and the Baldcypress Nature Center:
From Route 13, take Route 24 east 3 1/2 miles. Turn right onto Hitch Pond Road for 1 1/2 miles. Turn left at the stop sign onto Trap Pond Road (ignore the "Local Traffic Only" barricade). Go 1 mile to the Main Picnic Area and Nature Center.
To the Park Office, Campground, and Cypress Point:
From Route 13, take Route 24 east for 5 miles. Turn right onto Trap Pond Road for 1 1/2 miles. Turn left onto Goose Nest Road . The park entrance is on the right.
