Fort Washington lies on the Maryland shore of the Potomac River, south of Washington DC.
From I-95 (the Capital Beltway): Follow the signs for MD 210 Indian Head Highway. Take exit 3 and go south on Indian Head Highway. Turn right onto Fort Washington Road to the park.
