||Anglers will find bass, perch, sunfish, and catfish in the Choptank River. (Note: You must have a Chesapeake Bay Sportfishing License to fish in the tidal waters of the river and creek.) The park’s boat launch and pier offer easy access to the waterways, and the park rents canoes during the summer months.
Martinak features 63 campsites for trailer or tent camping; 30 of the sites have electric hook-ups. Each site is equipped with a camping pad, picnic table, and fire ring. Each camping loop has its own modern bathhouse. There are no water hook-ups, but there’s a dump station for trailers, and potable water is located around each loop.
There also are four camper cabins and one full-service cabin. The full-service cabin overlooks the Choptank River and is available for year-round rental. It sleeps four and contains a kitchen, bath facilities, bed linens, heat, air conditioning, and a screened-in porch. You can rent the four camper cabins from early spring through late fall. They each sleep four and contain a ceiling fan, electricity, and air conditioning. Each cabin also features an outside fire ring, grill, and picnic table. Restroom and shower facilities are located a short walk away
