Chesapeake Exploration Center - Chester, MD (Kent Narrows)
Activities:

As a Gateways regional information center, the Chesapeake Exploration Center (CEC) acquaints visitors with other Chesapeake Bay Gateways on the Eastern Shore, as well a variety of other sites and visitor accomodations available nearby. A variety of visitor information is kept on hand in the center.

The Exploration Center's "Our Chesapeake Legacy" exhibits introduce visitors to the natural resources of the Chesapeake Bay and the human response to these resources in the immediate region. There are also nature tourism programs associated with the CEC that allow visitors to experience the Chesapeake Bay and engage in outdoor environmental learning opportunities, such as birding, and archeological investigations focusing on the Bay’s early residents.

Pet policy: Allowed on leash.
Facilities: The Exploration Center offers visitor information, nearby boat access, and conference/meeting space to the community.
Accessibility: The Exploration Center is handicapped accessible.
