Chesapeake Wooden Boat Builders School offers lessons in traditional boat building and repair. The site offers guided and self-guided tours along with a children and family activity guide booklet. Havre de Grace Maritime Museums showcases hands-on displays, curriculum-based school, tours, changing and interactive exhibits, preschool reading programs. Additionally, the Museum sponsors special events and activities such as; an archaeology summer camp, teen boat camp, Children’s Day Earth Day, Canoe Rendezvous, Founders Day, Maritime Waterfront Festival, lecture series, demonstrations, preservation workshops, and concerts. |

Facilities: |
Restrooms are for museum visitors only. Tourist Information Center and gift shop on site featuring local and regional items, collectibles, and books. Site features a transient pier and access to town boardwalk. Event rentals available at museum and event tent overlooking Bay. |
