Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network Grants Workshops for 2004

The Chesapeake Bay Gateways Network (CBGN) offers three workshops focused on 2004 grant applications. The workshops will concentrate on the elements of the grant application, best practices in successful grant applications and projects, and those sections of the grant application that have proved most difficult for grantees.

This year, we have expanded the time devoted to raising the required matching funds. And each workshop will begin with an 8 AM orientation session for new Gateways and for staff from Gateways who want to become more familiar with current initiatives and opportunities.

The workshops will thus very practically target improvement of each Gateway’s grant application for 2004. We will work in small groups to apply the information shared throughout the day. Gateways will get the most out of this workshop if they come with a brief description of a grant concept or project, or the beginning of their grant application.

Congress increased the Network’s funding for 2004 grants. Let’s create the outstanding projects to use every penny!
